digest the world's leading web conferencing outfit - WebEx. But that's
just what the network goliath plans to do announcing a definitiive
agreement to acquire the company for approximately US$3.2 Billion.

Skype anointed mobile VoIP solution company, iSkoot, has announced a successful round of venture raising taking on a briefcase full of cash from a handful of venture capital funds. The money to be used to fund iSkoot's drive to become leader in mobile Skype solutions, but the company has also announced it is developing similar solutions for other Instant Messaging and social network communities.

Adobe is pleased to announce that it has acquired Antepo, Inc.
Antepo is a technology company that developed the Antepo Open Presence

Asterisk developer, Mark Spencer,
founder and formerly President of Digium has stepped aside from the day
to day running of the company allowing Danny J. Windham, former
President, COO and Director of ADTRAN the role of CEO. The move marks a
more aggressive stance by the company who will likely use Windham's
expertise in the enteprrise telco space to advance the VoIP solutions
house.

Action suit arising out of Nortel Network's accounting scandals back in
the first half of this decade, the company has moved closer to a
resolution with the approval of an estimated US$2.5 billion settlement.
