The OpenPhone 7X series of IP
Telephony handsets from Canadian maker, Aastra is now available from
SYdney-based distributor, Next IP. The OpenPhone 7X series includes a range
of integrated, fully featured OpenCom phone system handsets, which are
available with either a standard digital interface or with an Ethernet
port to enable an IP connection.

business slowed in the second quarter of 2007, says IDC's Channel
Panel, but not as much as other technology areas that saw the growth of
server and PCs. Storage another area historically experiencing good
growth didn't do so bad either.

Telephony hardware vendor, Quintum Technologies has announced its entry into the
Microsoft Certification Program and that its products will have the green light
for use with Microsoft's Office Communications Server 2007.
