Pacific Internet Wins Nextep Award Print E-mail

NEXTEP Broadband, a division of NEC Australia, has announced Pacific Internet as its Channel Partner of the year. Other resellers to get a gong included Integrated Vision and Oak Telecom and Finance.

The winners, announced at the NEXTEP Channel Partner Forum (held twice a year), took out Channel Partner of the Year, Most Innovative Broadband Solution of the Year and Most Improved Channel Partner of the Year. All winners are Melbourne-based companies.

A broadband outcrop of NEC Australia, NEXTEP is developing a range of value added solutions including Voice over DSL and Voice over IP services, as well as key security products such as biometrics.

Pacific Internet took the Channel Partner of the Year in recognition of its track record delivering NEXTEP to its customers, while videoconferencing company, Integrated Vision took out Most Innovative Broadband Solution for its Visionnet service a dedicated secure IP based network for videoconferencing.

Oak Telecom and Finance was recognised by NEXTEP as the Most Improved Channel Partner of the Year for its growth and enthusiasm and the transformation of its sales function.
