ISPhone Australasia has added a Senior Channel Sales Manager and an Accounts Manager to support the company's continued growth in the reseller channel.

The two new staffers include Greg Brodie, Senior Channel Sales Manager and David Sokolovic who has joined the company as an Accounts Manager.

Brodie is an industry veteran of more than 20 years. It will be his job to help out the company grow its reseller channel by recruiting new partners, developing new business opportunities, and expanding the sales team, says the company.

Prior totaking on the role at ISPhone Brodie worked at TPG Networking Group, Volante, Allied Technologies and NetStar Australia in a series of account management roles.

More than this telco experience, Brodie brings experience running his own distribution outfit to the ISPhone skills base having established his own distribution company and IT consulting business in the past.

Most recently, however, Brodie was working for VoIP vendor and distributor Splicecom on the company's channel development program, making him perfect for the new role.

Some may know David Sokolovic from his previous role at Australian Telecommunications Users Group (ATUG), where he acted as the main point of contact for all enquiries and information in the organisation.

Sokolovic will also work on the channel alongside Brodie. Sokolovic will be called up on to assist resellers with deployment, providing support and training to the channel, and facilitating the growth of reseller activity.

Gavin McDougal, ISPhone Managing Director said the two appointments are all part of meting the increasing demand from SMEs.

"As we continue to see explosive growth in business VoIP across Australia it is essential that providers have the resources to properly manage and support the customer," said McDougal.

"David and Greg's solid background in the telecommunications industry will be invaluable as we continue to build our relationships with resellers and partners and promote high quality VoIP services to the SME sector."
