The newly formed and significantly beefed up Communications
Alliance has announced it will hold a VoIP Forum in Sydney during December.
With the fledgling Australian VoIP industry facing a 2007 likely
to deliver explosive growth along with the accompanying growth pains typically
associated with new technology introductions, a chance for key industry players
to get together and nut out some of the key issues could go a long way toward
avoiding potential disasters.
Accordingly, the Communications Alliance, which was formed
in September as the result of a merger of the Australian Communications
Industry Forum (ACIF) and Service Providers Association Inc (SPAN), will host Headlining
VoIP -- the Communications Alliance VoIP Forum for 2006 at The American Club in
Sydney on
Wednesday, 13 December.
It's a chance to discuss where are things heading with VoIP.
How will future regulatory decisions boost VoIP's evolution? And the big
question! Is today's VoIP is tomorrow's feather duster?
