SMB VoIP equipment specialist, Mitel has announced a reseller agreement with Australian SMB communications provider, Telarus.

Telarus offers traditional voice, data, mobile, web hosting and security services both directly and through its own reseller partners.

The value added reseller (VAR) agreement with Mitel will give Telarus access to Mitel's complete range to sell direct and through channel partners.

Jules Rumsey, Managing Director of Telarus, said the company currently has over forty such partners, including system integrators, phone system resellers, telecommunication service providers and software VARs.

"Making the right telecommunications solutions decision is crucial in business today. The agreement with Mitel further enhances our capability to offer a compelling proposition to our prospective and existing customers," said Rumsey.

"The Mitel IP solution offers the perfect complement to our existing business grade voice and data services and the Telarus Next Generation Network is ideally suited to carrying demanding applications such as VoIP."
