After announcing a Beta program back in October, innovative mobile VoIP provider, TalkPlus, has announced a service at this year's CES show in Las Vegas.

TalkPlus, an interesting melding of VoIP and traditional cell phone technology, offers users a unique way to manage their inbound and outbound mobile calls by allowing the to have multiple virtual numbers on a single mobile handset.

The service, which is available on Sprint, Cingular, T-Mobile and Verizon, is targeted at professionals looking for a way to combine multiple work of personal and work numbers on a single phone.

"We've spent the last several months beta testing the TalkPlus technology and the positive response has been overwhelming," said Jeff Black, CEO.

"Doctors, business professionals, college students, and the socially active are just a few of the people who have been using TalkPlus to better manage their communications," he said.

TalkPlus numbers can be easily created making them disposable for temporary situations such as for a single sales process or for a particular deal. Adding a new number doesn't require any hardware or changes to your carrier plan and it is even available for prepaid customers!

Meanwhile, Mirror Numbers let subscribers add their home/office phone number to their mobile number so people they call see that Caller ID rather than a mobile number.

A call Contact Center allows subscribers to select advanced call management preferences and call screening rules for individual contacts so they are always sent to voicemail, a busy signal or to "Do Not Disturb" etc.

None of this requires the use of a PC to set up your preferences, there is no additional software to download or complicated call set-up process. A Basic Plan starts at less than US$9 per month, while a Pro Plan starts under US$17 per month.

TalkPlus Pro subscribers can have up to ten new (US area code) numbers on their phone, each with its own voicemail and call history.
