New Skype Mobile Technology To Sound Better |

HelloSoft, a world leader in mobile VoIP technologies has announced
that P2P broadband telephony provider, Skype has signed a license to
use its solutions in the Skype Windows For Mobile client.
HelloSoft's technology is focused on improving the quality of VoIP
calls over mobile devices whether they Wi-Fi or GSM connected. The
company, which is backed by Intel Capital was the recipient of Frost
& Sullivan's Voip product of the year in 2006.
Aravind T Seshagiri, Analyst for Frost & Sullivan said at the
time: "HelloSoft's VoIP product delivers more functionality in a small
package than any other VoIP solution. They also offer very high
performance in Voice quality coupled with lower power consumption when compared to any other VoIP product in the market."
One of the key features of the technology is its "low-footprint design" which is "extremely
cost-effective and power-efficient," said Krishna Yarlagadda,
HelloSoft's President and CEO.
"We are always looking for ways to enhance the voice quality for
Skype users," said Eric Lagier, Skype's Director of Business
Development, Hardware and Mobile.
"Working with HelloSoft will not only
help provide millions of Skype users around the world the voice quality
they expect from Skype, but helps deliver the same clarity on their
mobile devices that they get on their computers."
