Signing a deal with Melbourne-based telecommunications carrier, Pacific Wireless will enable Telarus to deliver fast wireless voice and data services to the business market.
The Master Services reseller agreement with Pacific Wireless will see Telarus offering wireless broadband services at speeds of up to 10Mbps, which is perfect for organisations that are using bandwidth-hungry applications such as Voice-over-IP and video, says the company.

Pacific Wireless  is a specialist last mile fixed wireless access provider offering high speed Internet, private data services and voice services to almost 100 percent of medium and large businesses that operate within Melbourne's metropolitan area.

"By interconnecting with Pacific Wireless' network, Telarus can deliver high-quality wireless services to our customers that are equivalent to fibre-based Ethernet or SHDSL," said Jules Rumsey, Managing Director at Telarus.

"We terminate the wireless services from Pacific Wireless on the Telarus core network, enabling customers to use these services to connect to a Telarus VPN or to the Internet," Rumsey said.

Russell Walkley, Managing Director at Pacific Wireless, said Telarus was the latest infrastructure provider to join the company's Wholesale Partner Program, launched in July last year.

"Pacific Wireless acts as a ‘last mile' carrier for Telarus, enabling them to deliver customers an alternative to wire-line technology such as fibre-optic and DSL services," Walkley said.

"Using our infrastructure, Telarus can be assured that they are delivering a premium business wireless service with a guaranteed speed and quality of service," Walkley said.
