It's not a good look when your new CEO lasts less than a year, but when he lasts less than three months it could be cause for serious concern.
The Chairman of Freshtel, Ken V. Loughnan AO, has announced to the stock market that the Freshtel Board has accepted the resignation of John Butkiewicz who was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Freshtel in January 2007.

Loughnan said Peter Warner (currently the Director - Corporate Affairs) will act as Chief Executive Officer of Freshtel and Michael Carew the Global Business Director and Founder of the Company will continue to focus on securing the contracts with white label partners that will be integral to Freshtel's growth.

The Board has commenced discussions with potential candidates for the CEO role and expects to have an announcement shortly, says the statement, but the company makes no attempt to explain why Butkiewicz has disappeared.
