VoIP Phoenix, Zultys Technologies, has moved to streamline its pricing model on a global scale. The new price list is designed to ease the way for channel partners reducing the number of licenses required to run the systems and bringing them under the basic system cost.
The new pricing has already been rolled out in the Australian market and is now becoming effective throughout the US, said the company that almost disappeared when previous Zultys owners failed to secure venture funding forcing a bankruptcy sale to its new owners.

The company plans to rapidly implement the new price list in the other major global markets where we have a presence shortly.

"After nearly four years as a Zultys partner, it is great to see such rapid progress by Zultys to streamline the licensing process," commented Neil Darling, managing partner at EtherSpeak Communications.

"Among the Zultys partner community, there was always a tongue-in-cheek irony that the product was almost easier to deploy than it was to price.

"From the value-added reseller's perspective, the pricing process was difficult to get right the first time, and in some cases, even the second time. I expect this change will be viewed as a significant and welcome improvement by the whole Zultys supply chain," he said.

"With this new pricing structure a Zultys channel partner will be able to put together a customer quotation in a fraction of the time previously required. Channel partners can therefore focus on their core business, which is delivering value for our mutual customers," said Avi Wienrib, President and CEO, Zultys Technologies.

The new price list is dramatically scaled down in length from the previous product price list, which exceeded 30 pages in total length.

Many licenses which were previously standalone and dependent on other licenses have been included with the base system cost. Another very significant change is that voicemail storage is no longer sold in increments, rather the maximum of 400 hours is provided in with the base cost of the system.

In the new pricing scheme there are now two discount levels, consistent with the approach used throughout this industry. Base MX30 and MX250 systems are now available including a quantity of User Licenses, allowing resellers to be highly competitive in the SME market segment, an area that stands to gain so much from the flexibility and "Big Business" feature set offered by the Zultys IP-PBX range.

As an added incentive, Zultys is offering the Advanced MXIE upgrade license, which adds important features such as voice encryption, voice compression and conferencing to the desktop client application, at no additional cost for a limited time on all new orders for user licenses with standardMXIE through its channel.
