Networking vendor 3Com Corporation has announced the appointment of Ralph Stadus as Managing Director for its operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Stadus, who has 27 years experience in the IT industry has been consulting to 3Com in Asia Pacific since February this year, but has been tempted into a fulltime position to focus on “ensuring an aggressive roll out of 3Com’s Secure Converged Networks strategy”.
According to a brief press statement announcing the appointment Stadus was particularly tempted by the increasing interest in VoIP in the Australian market.
Stadus quit as Toshiba ISD General Manager more than a year ago.
