Bendigo Bank Chooses NetQoS to Improve Network Performance |

AUSTIN, Texas - June 20th, 2007 - NetQoS(r) Inc., a provider of network
performance management products and services for large organizations,
announced that Bendigo Bank (the Bendigo), headquartered in Victoria,
Australia, has deployed NetQoS ReporterAnalyzer(tm) for network traffic
analysis.
One of Australia's fastest growing banks, the Bendigo is adding
approximately 30 branches per year. The Bendigo network team has a goal
to integrate new branches - many of which are in remote communities with
potentially expensive, low-bandwidth network connections - while keeping
its costs competitive. This is a priority as the Bendigo works to
maximize profits for the local communities that are partners in many
branches. In addition, the Bendigo frequently rolls out new applications
to support additional lines of business, further straining bandwidth and
performance.

Specifically, the Bendigo will use NetQoS ReporterAnalyzer to monitor
application rollouts, establish QoS policies, improve troubleshooting,
and distribute bandwidth appropriately to improve application
performance and avoid unnecessary WAN costs. For example, the Bendigo is
in the process of rolling out VoIP to major business centers and will
use NetQoS ReporterAnalyzer to monitor the deployment and mitigate any
risks. ReporterAnalyzer provides enterprise-wide visibility into the
composition of traffic on every link, enabling the Bendigo to determine
VoIP's impact on the network and critical business applications, and to
adjust QoS policies accordingly.
