Third-Party IP communications developers that want to integrate with ShoreTel's IP communications platform can now join a new partner program launched by the company.

"Best-practice IP communications implementation includes tight integration with enterprise IT infrastructure and applications," said Tony Warhurst, ShoreTel's Managing Director of S.E. Asia.

"This program allows us to achieve this vision by offering our customers partners and technologies they can leverage to take best advantage of the ShoreTel IP telephony system," continued Warhurst.

ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program enables businesses to maximise the investment in their converged network. With this program, ShoreTel customers can find and utilise the open interfaces of the ShoreTel system with partner-provided solutions across the enterprise.

"ShoreTel's Technology Partner Program helps to speed customer deployments because it serves as a single resource for products like Ingate's SIParatorŽ and SIP trunking solutions that are seamlessly interoperable with the ShoreTel IP-PBX," said Steven Johnson, president, Ingate Systems. "We are proud to add our award-winning products to the ShoreTel community of SIP-based VoIP solutions."

Potential company members must pass ShoreTel's interoperability certification testing and are required to provide integration documentation that makes it easy for customers to leverage these solutions in their networks and in their business.

Participating partners are listed on ShoreTel's online partner product catalog and get to use the ShoreTel Technology Partner logo. Other advantages for members include briefings on changes to maintain compatibility and interoperability and invitations to join ShoreTel's Channel Partner Summit.

Members in the program already include DuVoice, Ingate Systems, Mediatrix Telecom, Morgen Industries, and Telrex.
