IP Telephony hardware vendor, Quintum Technologies has announced its entry into the Microsoft Certification Program and that its products will have the green light for use with Microsoft's Office Communications Server 2007.

To get the Certified Partner status Quintum had to provide the usual proof they had the competencies and customer references, in return it gets access to tools and training that are not publicly available.

That will assist its engineers to ensure the company's Tenor products and Microsoft's software work together. Testing is currently underway in preparation for the upcoming Office Communications Server 2007.

Quintum developed a customized configuration wizard to simplify any Tenor's deployment with Office Communications Server 2007. The software is embedded in the Tenor Switches and is free with all Tenors sold for a Office Communications Server 2007 implementation.

In addition, Quintum has created a Microsoft microsite www.quintum.com/microsoft/ which provides information on Quintum's products and how they function within an Office Communications Server 2007 environment.

Quintum is providing a VoIP solution that simplifies connecting Office Communications Server 2007 to legacy analog telephony devices and the PSTN. The configuration wizard, a wide variety of product sizes and configurations to fit any office, and the ability for enterprises to expand their network at their own pace, all combine to makeQuintum's Tenor the optimal choice for connecting the PSTN to VoIP deployments for unified communications.

"We are very excited about the innovation that Office Communications Server 2007 and its unified communication platform brings to the enterprise communications market," said Chuck Rutledge, VP of Marketing at Quintum Technologies. "As a Certified Partner in the Microsoft Partner Program, we have shown our commitment to supporting Microsoft unified communications customers."
