Targeting emerging technology areas has long been a challenge and putting your marketing message in front of readers considering Voice over Internet Protocol is even more of a challenge. While the high traffic technology sites are increasing their coverage of VoIP issues and products, their coverage remains superficial, inconsistent and is swamped by a deluge of readers interested in technology, but not neccesarily ready for VoIP delpoyment.

Only VoIP specialist websites can deliver the quality of audience you need to guarantee clicks from people actively seeking VoIP information and only VoIP News can do it at this price!

Our readership is unique in the Australian market, focused entirely on IP Telephony and associated products and services. This highly targeted readership means your advertising dollar is maximised.

I've been doing technology publishing for nearly two decades and have been working on Internet News sites for nearly 10 years! Look around for that sort of experience runnig a VoIP website!

My publishing costs are 'rock bottom', that's how niche sites compete. My costs translate into your costs. In fact, our prices are so low, we don't even let you place those tiny little 120px buttons. If you want to make an impression with your impressions think big.

VoIP News has a range of ad sizes from the traditional 460px Banner to a choice of Leader Board Positions at top and bottom of page.

You will see theres a big discrepency between pricing depending on ad size and position. That's because the premium positions are reserved for Google AdWord advertising which is repsonsible for most of VoIP News income on a monthly basis. If you want to unseat Google for these positions you have to beat its performance for these premium positions.

But there's plenty of good performing positions that you can buy at far less than Google advertisers pay.

The google adverts work on VoIP News because people come to my site looking for information. If it works for Google this site can work for you.

VoIP News direct advertising rates are based on a cost per thousand (CPM) basis. Prices vary depending on size and position.

The actual rates are based on the historical performance of the Google AdWords units running on the site. While Google calculates advertising revenues based on cost per click, our direct advertising is designed to offer marketers a better option for display advertising.

Because our target audience is such a select group of Australian educated/business users, you will find that our traffic is significantly lower than competing technology sites. We believe this works to your advantage as you can assure good coverage of our readership for far less than you would pay for the shotgun approach on general technology sites.

While we have roughly one third Australian, one third US and one third ROW, we regret we are not able to guarantee Georgraphic targetting for your advertising. While it is possible with our adserver this facility is currently still 'under development'.

We provide our own ad server facilities, but we are equally happy to discuss adverts served by third party ad serving companies.

Using our own Ad Server, you will receive a monthly summary and invoice, or you can elect to buy a set number of impressions paid in advance.

Please keep in mind that we recalculate our advertising rates quarterly and so limit the number of impressions you can purchase on one time to 50,000.

We hope that you find this policy acceptable. If you would like to comment on our pricing strategy please contact us on This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

VoIP News also runs customer acquisition promotions in the form of affiliate marketing deals with companies such as clixGalore . If you would like to know
