Joining as Business Development Manager for Teleware’s ANZ operations Richard Adams, is not really new to the company.

With a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration majoring in Commercial Law and Marketing from the Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, Adams most recently laboured at the company’s Hosted Services operation in London where, he was responsible for new business development and was closely involved in planning and launching TeleWare’s intelligent Extensions product.

His new position involves actively recruiting channel partners and assisting existing resellers expand TeleWare’s installed base. Adams will also be a key driver in the launch and advancement of TeleWare’s Hosted Services in the region, planned for later this year.

“Most customers are far less concerned with how the technology works, and just want a simple solution that works and delivers real business benefits. I’m excited about using my skills developed in the UK to help TeleWare A/NZ deliver compelling business solutions that just work, rather than complex technical products that just confuse,” says Adams.

Prior to the UK, Adams spent two and a half years at Telecom NZ launching the country’s first IP-Centrex solution and managing the marketing for the company’s $120m portfolio of “enhanced access” products. He’s also had stints at TelstraClear – (formerly TelstraSaturn).
