Ex-Engin CTO Joins ISPhone |

Steven Ikeda, who until recently held the CTO job at residential VoIP
Service provider Engin has joined budding NextGen network provider,
ISPhone Australasia as the company's new Chief Technology Officer.
Ikeda recently left Engin after one and a half years as CTO, but with a
further seven and a half years during which he was the company's CIO.
In his role Steven oversaw the technology growth of the company
from its start as a mobile phone reseller to one of the largest VoIP
companies in Australia with over 60,000 customers.
He joins ISPhone to oversee its continued development from a business
grade VoIP provider to a fully-fledged Next Generation
telecommunications carrier and will be responsible for overall planning
and implementation of ISPhone's strategic technology initiatives,
expanding the national network, growing the current technical
resources, and introducing further products in IP and voice
communications.

developing a successful channel partner program to reach businesses of
all sizes across Australia as well as developing a quality platform to

ISPhone recently completed its first stage of network expansion,
rolling out additional Points of Presence (POPs) in Adelaide, Melbourne
and Sydney and offering naked ‘business grade' DSL with direct
connectivity into its VoIP network. The Company plans to expand further
in 2008.
