Kicking off the new Year with some more staff changes, Commander Communications Chairman, Elizabeth Nosworthy has announced the resignation of two more of her compatriots and the appointment of a new "interim" CFO.

With little praise or fanfare Nosworthy announced the resignation of non-executive Directors, Neil Martin McDermott and Bill Scales who both leave the Commander Board following the company's disastrous performance over the past year.

With similar enthusiasm, the company has announced the appointment of Peter Housden to the interim position of Chief Financial Officer effective 7th January. According to the biography released by Commander, Housden has over 35 years experience across a number of industries including; manufacturing, resources, chemicals, transport and professional services.

Housden is not just an accountant, says the Bio and he has led strategic reviews, managed business units and had the responsibility for human resources and information technology. "In addition he has continuing interest in corporate reporting and governance through membership of the AICD Reporting Committee", syas the statement issued to the ASX.
