Wireless broadband provider BigAir has announced a business grade VoIP service to its last mile network.

To deliver the service BigAir has added a new IP-Centrex service which will deliver access to a range of PABX features including voice mail, IVR, auto attendant, call grouping and transfers.

"Alternatively we can interface with an existing PABX system in order for businesses to take advantage of the VoIP savings while leveraging their existing infrastructure," said Jason Ashton, joint managing director, BigAir.

"We have a solution for businesses looking to reduce their monthly calling costs and expensive line rental costs. BigAir's new business-grade VoIP and IP-Centrex services provide significant savings and at the same time provide SMEs with advanced telephony features," he said.

The company is also offering IP phones starting at $250 (RRP). Call rates start at 10c for local calls, and 10c un-timed long distance calls to Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Popular international destinations (USA, UK, HK, Japan) are 5c per minute.

A dial-in number is available from $5 per month.
